'DREAMWORLD' - "Tower of Terror" - QLD, AUSTRALIA

The Summer of 1996/97 saw the launch of the world's tallest fastest ride hit Dreamworld's list of newest themed family entertainment rides. As the fabricator, the Sanderson Group utilised fire retarded expanded polystyrene, polyurethane foam and a structural polyurethane hardcoat over a steel frame to form this eleven (11) metre high crimson-eyed metallic robotic skull main entry feature for the "Tower of Terror".

A fast track turn key package, the Sanderson Group not only engineered the profile for the skull entry, but completed seven theme zones within the "Tower of Terror" ride. This comprised of tunnels, rockwork, disaster areas, preshow areas, guest handling areas, ride load/unload and exit areas over a 45 day period in order to be operating for the Christmas holiday celebrations.
