Mr. Steve A. Sanderson, Principal & Chief Executive Officer

The Sanderson Group was founded in 1989 by it’s Principal, Mr. Steve A Sanderson after gaining recognition in the Film/Television and Construction Industries.

Mr. Sanderson plays an active role in the management, technological research and development of this highly successful company. He has been the driving force behind the successful twenty years of continuous growth and development. He expects from his company members in all facets nothing less than what he is prepared to give himself and provides this statement.

Mr. Phill Ramsden, Group Design Director

Phill Ramsden has over 20 years experience in design and has held the position of Sanderson Group International Design Director for the past 16 years. He is regarded as a superior multitalented designer in the amusement and tourism destination industry in the areas of Theme Park, Resort Destination and Urban Master Planning.

Phill is a current member of the International Association for Amusement Parks and Attractions and is a Bachelor of Architecture. Over the past 16 years, Phill has been instrumental in the Sanderson Group’s growth based on developing innovative and creative design through our in house design team.

Phill’s diversity ranges from 6 star Hotel, Grand Opera House, Theatres and Stages, Casinos, Town Planning and Master Planning large scale developments.

Mr. Dilip Chhugera, Group Director

Dilip has been the driving force that has attributed to the success of the Sanderson Group India. He holds a post graduate degree in Management & Finance and has hands on experience in project & construction management.

During his 15 years of experience, he has been involved with many of India’s major project developers & reputed clients such as Essel Group, Ramoji Film City, Grigold, Hyderabad Urban Development Authority, UB Group, Pestige Group,  Khaitan Group, BJN Group, Great Indian Nautanki  Company & VGP to name just a few.

Currently Dilip is on the board of directors of Sanderson Group Holdings & a Managing Director – Sanderson Group India. He also handles the Business Development in conjunction with playing the role of a Chief Supervising Officer for seleced projects. His responsibilities also include setting & maintaining standards for company development and setting standards for construction practices.

Mr. Darren McLean, Group Director

Darren McLean is the Sanderson Group Executive Project Director with extensive experience in Commercial, Residential and Tourism Project Management. He is highly regarded in the Australian Construction industry in the areas of strategic business planning, safety, operational management and project planning.

Darren has extensive experience in project management in Australia and abroad, having worked for Japanese construction company Nifsan Developments Pty. Lyd. For 8 years as Project Manager for commercial and residential projects up tp AUD$1 billion. He has a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with first class honours and a Bachelor Degree in Business Management.

Darren has been employed by the Sanderson Group for three years and heads the group’s project management division. He is currently based in the Singapore office and currently oversees projects in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Macau and Hong Kong.

Mr. Luke Riley, Director, Business Development

Luke’s comprehensive understanding of Asian, European, and American business cultures and cultural expectations have been the key to working effectively and efficiently throughout Asia, and around the globe. For the past 7 years has been working and living throughout Asia.

Luke is a current Manufacturer and Supplier Sub-Committee Member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions [IAAPA], which assists in the development and creation of M&S focused programs, education, and M&S services of IAAPA.

He is continuously traveling throughout the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, and is well informed of industry trends, the latest technologies, and strategies employed in the Themed Design and Construction Industry.

Mr. Allan Chamberlin, Director and Senior Architect

As the General Manager and ProjectDesignDirectorof Sanderson Shanghai,Allanis in charge of establishing the company in China and making it a leading design organization. After gaining 20 years of design and management experience in England, Australia, Middle East and South East Asiaand now in China for the last 3 years, Allan is totally reliable in Client Liaison, Design, Planning, Detail Documentation and Coordination, & Site Supervision.

Registered RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Member.

Masters Degree in Architectural Design – Kingston Polytechnic/ University

Allan has maintained that irrespective of the project and its ultimate purpose, he will engage and define himself through the project requirements not limiting himself with the project type, but rather set about 'raising the bar' of ensuring the creation of an architectural space as being the most creative and fit for purpose project attainable.

Recently he completed the creation of storyline for the Oil Pavilion and was Project Director for the UAE Pavilion in the World Expo 2010, Shanghai, China.

Mr. Syed Zulkarnain Aljunid, Director and Senior Architect

Graduated from the University of Newcastle, Australia with a Bachelor of Science (Architecture) Degree, Graduated from the MARA University of Technology, Shah Alamwith a Bachelor of Architecture (Honors) Degree

He is currently registered as Corporate member with  the Malaysian Institute of Architects and as a Professional Architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia

He has 9 years working experience in the Malaysia Construction Industry, working for a variety of Architect firms as a Design and Project Architect.  He has designed and managed a wide scope of project types, such as a Swimming Pool Complex, Marine Police Base, Institutions of Higher Learning, Hospitals, Housing, Commercial Offices etc.

Mr. Greg Holt, Group Creative Manager

Bachelor of Graphic Arts & Illustration, New Zealand

Greg's core competencies are Architectural Design & Illustration, Concept Art, Themed Entertainment Design, Character Design, Storyboarding & Art Direction.

Greg has 15 years’ experience in the Themed Design & Construction industry, and worked on projects in Australia, China, Singapore, Uganda & India.

He has been based in Sanderson Offices in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia & Macau for various projects involving the creative design of Casinos, Shopping Complex’s, Hotels, Conference & Wedding Centre’s, Edutainment Venues and Indoor and Outdoor Theme & Water Parks.

Mr. William Liu, Project Director

William has more than 8 years international experience, including 5 years experience at management level.

Master of  Accounting, Bachelor of  Marketing Management  and ACCA

William is based in China and his key role is to develop Project Financial Feasibilities, Independently analyzing the financial performance and budget.

He is familiar with accounting, tax, auditing, M&A company internal control, corporate governance

Mr. Jeffrey Woo, Project Director

Jeffrey is a admitted Chinese lawyer with more than 8 years experience, familiar with FDI industry, M&A and corporate management with a strong ability of cooperation and communication

Bachelor of Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, (Major: International Economic Law),

Jeffrey’s key role is I.P negotiations, Legal and Project Statutory requirements inclusive of protecting the clients copy write exposure.

He is based in China to import and maintain the I.P for clients, also reviews the contracts for clients and communicates with the government.
